Whichever appliances
you choose to install in your
home, most brands have energy-efficient,
environmentally friendly options.
We typically install Wolf, Viking,
and Dacor brands, all of which
are ENERGY STAR qualified, maximizing
efficiency and minimizing utility
costs. Additionally, all the
lighting fixtures we install
in each home we build are ENERGY
STAR rated as well, and come
with the option of installing
ENERGY STAR light bulbs.
The tank water
heaters we use in our homes are
all high efficiency products.
Energy Factor (EF) is an overall
efficiency rating of the water
heater. The higher the EF, the
more efficient the model. Water
heaters with high EF ratings
may cost more initially but save
energy and money in the long
run. Eventually, they will pay
for themselves through a lifetime
of energy savings.
We
also use Rheem tankless gas water
heaters, which provide a continuous
supply of hot water from an energy-efficient
and space-saving design (about
the size of a medicine cabinet).
They provide continuous hot water,
are compact, and have intelligent
electronic controls designed
to increase energy efficiency
